Owl in Flight

This is a Eurasian Eagle Owl, and according to photographer, Malcolm Osman, it is one of the world's largest owls, measuring between 23-30 inches with a wingspan of 55-79 inches. This piece of art is created using gouache-painted eggshells and paper squares on canvas. It is sealed with archival varnish and Modge-Podge.
